After which the FG made another announcement on how about 10,000 applicants of the Nigeria Youths Investment Funds (NYIF) Loan Program has been shortlisted.

NYIF Loan Disbursement: FG Approves 7,000 Disqualifies 1,000
Now to finalize those previous processes, the Federal Government has made another new update about the approval status.
We learnt from the FG that out of the 10,000 shortlisted NYIF Loan applicants only about 7,000 persons were marked qualified for the loan and about 1,000 persons were marked disqualified.

The FG presented how the 10,000 shortlisted NYIF applicants were categorized based on their status, see below for info.
The data of the breakdown is seen below:
- Only 7,000 marked approved by FG
- Over 1,000 marked disqualified
- About 721 were unqualified.
- 282 applicants marked not approved
- About 997 marked unaccounted
Based on the information reaching us as stated by the sports minister, no reasons for the disqualification of the NYIF program applicants were mentioned.
The minister also mentioned that only 6,050 applicants were qualified for the NYIF Loan while funds were disbursed to total of 5,285 beneficiaries.
It is worth to remember that those applicants that were shortlisted will receive a mail via the email addresses used at the point of registration.
As mentioned, the email is being sent in batches and that means applicants are to wait for their mail as it will definitely get to them in due time.
