Based on the recent developments in NYIF, the Federal Government has made an announcement via the Ministry of Youths and Sports Development that another list of candidates has been shortlisted.
The announcement showed that the shortlisted batch is of 10,000 youth, these successful youth applicants can now enjoy the fund disbursement accordingly.
NYIF: 10,000 Youths Shortlisted
The Federal Government created the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund to help Nigerian youths to grow the country’s economy and workmanship.
NYIF was purposely created to help fund youths’ businesses, to create a sense of development and trades.

The minister of Youths and Sports Development, Mr. Sunday Dare speaking on the update today on 12th of October 2021 mentioned the below:
“With the successful completion of this pilot phase, NIRSAL has cleared names of another ten thousand (10,000) for training and subsequent loan approval and disbursement. Loans are in the range of two hundred and fifty thousand (N250,000) to three million naira (N3,000,000) for now.”
“These names are available on the FMYSD website and NOYA website. Checks done include Age, BVN whether or not the individual has an existing government loan or has received covid 19 business payments.”

This means that the shortlisted youths are not bound to enjoy all the benefits the NYIF programme has to offer.
