Following the bunch of requests being passed to the Government over the NYIF loan, the Federal Government has made a huge step by reopening the NYIF Loan Application Portal.

What is the NYIF Loan about?
The NYIF (Nigerian Youth Investment Fund) is a fund set aside to help youths improve their skills and to help them bring out their innovative and entrepreneurial spirit.
This is to help them focus on how they can help society and the country at large with their skills instead of hunting white-collar jobs.
FG Reopens NYIF Loan Application Portal
Now that Federal Government has re-opened the NYIF Loan application portal, all eligible youths can now apply for the fund.
You are to note that the loan is only available for Nigerian youths that are from age 18 to 35 years, no more no less.
The registration portal is only available to those Nigerian youths that have not registered in the past or have an account on the portal.
NYIF Loan Eligibility
FORMAL BUSINESS ENTERPRISES
Registered Business / Youth Owned Enterprises
Provision of Business plan Summary / Or Completed Questionnaire
Duly registered formal business enterprises (Youth owned enterprises) with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
Evidence of Training Certificate from approved FMYSD EDIs
Provision of Tax Identification Number (TIN)
Valid Bank Verification Number (BVNs) of Director
INFORMAL BUSINESS ENTERPRISES
(Individual / Non-Registered Business )
Valid Bank Verification Number (BVN)
Evidence of Local Government Indigene Certificate
Must be a Nigerian youth within the age bracket of 18 to 35yrs
Have an operational business /enterprise domiciled In Nigeria (Those with unregistered business can also apply)
You are to start registering your account with the NYIF portal starting from now, this is because it can be closed at any moment from now.
