The Federal Government of Nigeria has set up a grant to help the people of the country overcome the Covid-19 impact. NG Cares Grant (Nigeria Covid-19 Recovery & Economic Stimulus program) was created to empower entrepreneurs who are finding it difficult for their businesses growth.
NG-Cares provides the affected businesses with grants and loans to micro, small, and medium businesses so are to survive the pandemic. Restoration of the livelihoods of all Nigerian poor and vulnerable citizens is the focus of the grant.
It is an emergency operation designed to help and support a budgeted programme of expenditures and interventions at the state level. This targets existing and newly emerging vulnerable and poor households, agricultural value chains, and micro and small enterprises (MSEs) to bring about stability.
NG Cares Eligibility Check
Businesses that pay for rent, salaries, utilities, supplies, e.t.c are experiencing issues paying for these.
For a business that makes use of technology-based tools such as POS machines, mobile apps, online stores, laptops, and others.
Businesses that have collected loans after June 15th, 2020, and find it hard to pay back the loan.
Businesses Targeted for the NG Cares Grant
To apply for the grant you must own a business within the range below :
Micro Businesses (3-9 employees)
Small to Medium Businesses (10-50 employees)

To apply for the NG CARES grant you must have the document below available:
A valid Bank Verification Number (BVN, one that is printed and stamped)
Valid Certificate of Business ownership (CAC certificate, TIN)
A proof of identity (National ID card, Voter’s Card, Driver’s license, e.t.c.)
Business operation proof (Bank statement of Business account, Cashbook register, e.t.c)
Resident proof (Utility bills such as Nepa bills, Water bills)
Age verification (Voter’s card, Driver’s license e.t.c.)
